Nabaztag:tag by AndréYou want to live with Mr. A? |
Under André's guidance, Mr. A left the city walls and went to live in the houses of Paris, New York, Brussels and London, so that he could keep the world smiling in the form of a rabbit with touches of pink: "Yes, graffiti is a lively art, being perpetually reborn… and now it's mobile!"
Creator of "love graffitis," André has given his message of love a new dimension. His Mr. A has finally escaped the walls and taken a life of his own!
This is indubitably the first limited edition communicating graffiti.

André, born in Sweden in 1971, has been drawing since his earliest days on the walls of his house and school. When he arrived in Paris in 1981, the street became his workshop. Graffiti is a way of not submitting to, but rather taking possession of, the city. Under the cover of night, as much for his own enjoyment as for necessity, André armed himself with his spray-can culture bombs and drew his figure and trademark of choice, Mr. A, on the walls of cities such as Paris, Tokyo, London, L.A., and Havana, etc. And in accordance with the proportion of his personality, he created the Parisian hot spots l'Hôtel Amour, the clubs le Paris Paris and le Baron, and a stylish concept boutique within the modern art museum, Palais de Tokyo.
With his giant hat, long limbs, cross-eyed stare, and full-mouthed grin, the arrogant Mr. A has spread from New York to Hong Kong, with some stops in London, Berlin, and Tokyo, his message of love and his "Love Graffitis."
Nabaztag was born in Paris in June 2005. He is therefore the world's first communicating rabbit. Connected directly to the internet via WiFi, he began to sing some songs, yell out messages, and share his turbulent moods. He moved his ears and his body lit-up with hundreds of colors. After about 6 months, he learned to read and he took to reciting websites he found on the ‘net and e-mails he received. Very soon after, he began to speak in English too and began the life of an international jet-setter. You could see him in Paris, where he played an opera with 99 other rabbits, then in New York or Las Vegas. He went on to take part in fashion shows and do lots of high-profile interviews.
In December, 2006, Nabaztag (also named Nabaztag/tag now) discovered that he had a new talent: he can now obey the voices of his human masters and immediately answer to their demands.
Today, Nabaztag travels worldwide; from New York to Hong Kong, from San Francisco to Berlin and everywhere else with the same message:
